The BC egg industry plays an important part in British Columbia's agricultural economy. Egg producers provide fresh, high quality eggs to consumers and contribute to the economic well-being of the province.
It’s important to understand where our food comes from, how our egg farmers manage their farms, and the best ways to use our products. We offer information for students (K-12) that highlights modern egg production methods on the farm, egg grading, and retailing. Other information outlines the egg's structure and nutritional value, and tips on egg purchasing, storage, handling and cooking.
We are also proud sponsors of the British Columbia Agriculture in the Classroom (AITC) Foundation. Click here to visit AITC.
