Cooking eggs in the microwave is a convenient and versatile way to reap the full range of nutritional benefits of eggs in a jiffy. It’s so easy, it’s child’s play. It’s so quick, you can go out and play… fast.

A delicious, quick microwaved cheese omelette wrapped in a tortilla for easy eating. Even the kids will love making this one!

2   large BC Fresh Eggs
1   Tbsp. cold water
3 x ¼”   slices Cheddar cheese
1    microwaveable omelette pan
1   flour tortilla Wrap (any flavour)

In small cup or bowl, whisk eggs and cold water with a fork until well combined. Pour into one side of the omelette pan; top with cheese slices. Close omelette pan and put into microwave. Microwave on high power for 45-60 seconds, depending on wattage of microwave. Open lid on omelette pan and microwave another 45-60 seconds until omelette is puffy and fully cooked.

Put tortilla wrap onto a plate and microwave 15 seconds to warm. Turn out cooked omelet onto the middle of the tortilla, folding in sides to create a wrap.

Optional Toppings
Cheese omelette is great as is OR you can add any of your favourite toppings onto the omelette or the wrap, such as: salt & pepper, any fresh herbs, salsa, sour cream & green onions, chopped black olives, chili sauce, sliced avocado, sliced tomato, bacon bits, extra grated cheese.
